Videography

It was on that SnoDrift trip that I realized my passion for making videos, and re-telling a story in a way that will last a lifetime. Over the next year I practiced shooting videos and editing. I attended car meets, car shows, rally events, race events, all sorts of stuff. It wasn't until the beginning of 2018 where I really decided I wanted to try and take my work to the next level.
My good friend Ben Marouski drives a 2010 Mini R56 in the GridLife Time Attack race series, and just before the beginning of the 2018 season, he came to me with an opportunity. A race sponsorship competition had surfaced where contestants had to submit their best videos following the theme, 'why I race'. The best videos would be selected by Racepak and the winners would receive up to 2,000 dollars in sponsorship equipment.
I figured this would be a good first video of the year to try and set a bar for myself, and so I did the best I could do... and our video won. Winning that video competition gave me the confidence to go out and try to do more, and so I decided to follow Ben and do a video series for his events this year. While there are still a few more events left in the season, I think this year has proven to be a great learning experience, and a ton of fun. I am excited to look back at the end of the year and see how my work has progressed, but also to look forward towards what new opportunities may come.
I am a licensed Drone Pilot as well, and if anyone out there is looking for drone photography or videography shoot me a message! Not only do I do cars but I can do Weddings, Golf Courses, Real Estate, Local Advertising, you name it. There are so many things you can do with beautiful drone footage that distinctly set you apart from your competition, so don't wait!
